BeautynHealth is a nurse-led aesthetics, skin and wellness clinic founded by Agnes Magowan, Consultant Aesthetic Nurse Prescriber, based in County Down.
With extensive experience in healthcare and aesthetic medicine, Agnes provides a personalised, evidence-based approach to care and treatment, with a strong focus on safety, natural-looking results and helping each patient feel confident in their own skin.
Our Story
With many years of nursing experience, Agnes has developed a holistic approach to aesthetics, skin health and wellbeing. She holds both a BSc (Hons) and MSc in nursing, reflecting her strong clinical and academic background and commitment to continued professional development.
Agnes believes that the best aesthetic results should enhance your individual features rather than change them. Every treatment plan is guided by careful assessment, honest advice and realistic expectations, with patient safety at the heart of her practice.
As a Consultant Aesthetic Nurse Prescriber, Agnes has undertaken extensive foundation and advanced training in aesthetic medicine, including anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers, facial contouring, skin boosters, biostimulators and skin remodelling.
She is also trained in Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy for skin rejuvenation and hair restoration and regularly undertakes advanced training with leading aesthetic practitioners throughout the UK and Ireland, helping to keep her practice current, and evidence-based.
Skin health
Skin health is an important part of Agnes's practice. She offers a range of advanced skin treatments, including microneedling, chemical peels, Bio-Spicule therapy, and personalised skincare programmes.
Following consultation and skin assessment, treatment plans are tailored to each patient's skin concerns, needs and goals.
Health and Wellness
Alongside aesthetics and skin health, Agnes brings extensive healthcare experience to her work in medical weight management. As a partner with the National Medical Weight Loss Programme, she supports patients through a personalised, medically led approach to achieving sustainable weight loss and improving their overall health and wellbeing.
Agnes also provides health checks and vitamin therapies as part of her wider approach to health and wellness.
